Methods and Materials

These soft sculptures are created through the process of needle felting; this is done by ‘tangling’ natural fibers together, building up a dense mass of these fibers over time and then sculpting the artifact through a variety of techniques.

My sculptures are all created using a mixture of raw and processed natural Tasmanian sheep and alpaca fibers fleece.
